Dr Amit Garg is Director of Medical Affairs, Clinical Affairs and Strategy Planning, Terumo India Private Limited.
Dr Garg holds an MD in Pharmacology from Goa Medical College and an MBA in Pharmaceutical Marketing and Management from the Indian Institute of Commerce and Trade. He is also a Clinical Research Fellow at the Royal Liverpool Academy.
Prior to his work with Terumo India, Dr Garg was Medical Head and then Medical Director of Dr Reddy’s Laboratories for over 8 years, where he was responsible for preparing and leading the global medical affairs plan for all emerging markets, guiding country medical affairs head to execute their respective scientific activities and post-marketing activities including late phase studies, KOL management and publication planning, health economics data.
Dr Garg was also associated with other organisations such as Ranbaxy as Manager Medical Services, Fresenius Kabi Oncology Limited as Assistant Director and Merck Serono as Head Medical Services.
